SPRING Student Social

APRIL 6th

6th Grade - 6:00 - 7:15

7th & 8th Grade - 7:30 - 9:00

 

Students will enter through the doors between the band/orchestra wing and the 6th grade wing.  


Students will exit through the front entrance.

Please pick students up on time.

 

In the Fall and Spring of each school year, the Henrick PTA sponsors a student social. Sixth grade has its social from 6:00 p.m. - 7:15 p.m. Seventh and eighth grade has a combined social from 7:30 p.m. - 9:00 p.m. on that same evening. Students enjoy an evening of their favorite music played by a DJ in the cafeteria, group dancing, basketball in the gym, and time to socialize with friends.


Admission is $3.00 per student. Snacks and drinks may be purchased for 50 cents each. Please note that the socials are open only to current 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Hendrick students. Non-Hendrick friends and younger/older siblings are not allowed to attend.


The PTA appreciates parent donations of Coke products (Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Fanta, Mr. Pibb and Dasani bottled water) which will be sold at the social to help offset the cost of the DJ and other social expenses. An online form will be available 3 weeks prior to the social to signup to donate drink items.

Parent volunteers are needed the evening of the social to help with tickets, concessions, and to chaperone. Parents must be approved by PISD to volunteer. Go to www.pisd.edu to complete your background check. Background checks must be completed annually after July 1st.

Volunteers

There are many opportunities to get involved at your school and to help PTA support our students.
 
You MUST have completed a background check through PISD before volunteering. Please note that your Plano ISD Volunteer Application must be renewed each year on but not before July 1st (click here to renew).
